For guests interested in active holidays Pakoštane is a great destination, whether you are an athlete, recreational or casual onlookers who happened to be walking in place.

Cycling

Experience the pleasure of a bike treck is divided into two weight. First lighter is 36 km long and the other heavier is 43 km long.
The trecks are next to a nature park, surrounded by Lake Vrana and climb on the viewpoint Kamenjak from which there is an ideal view of Lake Vrana and Pakoštane surroundings.

Kamenjak viewpoint

If you go up to a small hill called Kamenjak, just above the lake, you will find a sightseeing point. In 2006, as a part of the CARDS 2002 Project two traditional buildings, information panels, benches, educational trail and a telescope were placed here. From here you can enjoy the most beautiful view … you can see the whole Lake Vrana, Kornati archipelago, Murter, Pirovac, Drage, Pakoštane …
Besides that, here you can find toilet, small souvenir shop, get some information or buy a bike map to help you get around the rest of the Park.

 

Riding

Riding excursions on Lake Vrana, swimming and taking pictures with horses, riding school (sports and hobby horse), therapeutic riding, summer camps, carriage rides along the beach.


Jogging track

Jog with the smell of the sea and pine trail that leads from the beach of Pakoštane through the Crvena luka to the nearby city Biograd na Moru.

Beach Volleyball

Zigi beach bar on beach Janice is a place where in summer you can come with your friends and play beach volleyball.

Fishing

During your vacation there is an opportunity for fishing in the sea or in the Lake Vrana.
Permits for sport fishing (sport and recreational fishing, angling) may be purchased in Biogradna Moru (6 km from Pakoštane towards Zadar).
If you are more interested in fishing in fresh water, their wishes can fill the Lake Vrana, only 2 km from Pakoštane. Besides being a natural park and the largest natural lake in Croatia, here you can catch the pike, carp, catfish, eels and other freshwater species .
Fishing license is required, daily fishing license you may acquire also on the spot, or in the headquarters of the Nature Park Vransko jezero:
