The kayak trail is 14 kilometers long and can be paddled in pleasant company and in two-person kayaks. The special feature is that rowing down the river gives you the opportunity to see a part of the canyon that cannot be reached on foot along the coast, which gives this karst river even more mystery. During hot days, it is also possible to swim in the river, which is always slightly lower in temperature than the sea. Refreshment is definitely guaranteed!

You can be a beginner rower or an experienced rower, everyone will find the excursions from Pakoštane interesting. If you are a beginner, you might be a little tired at the end of the trip. At the very top, above the center of Lake Vrana, there is a magnificent Kamenjak viewpoint that will leave you breathless. It has become one of the symbols of Pakoštane and a “must visit” location. Only 15 km from Pakoštane, its peak can be reached by car, bicycle and on foot. The trails are marked to make way from Pakoštane easy for all visitors.

The climb is not very steep, but it is worth going through. What awaits you at the top is truly something special. When you arrive, enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the entire archipelago, the surrounding villages, the sea and the islands. We recommend that you definitely take your camera and capture that special moment. Watching the sunsets and all those bright colors spilling over the sky, lake and sea is a unique opportunity.
